IASA inaugural meeting of Birmingham Chapter UK

Tonight I attended the inaugral meeting of the UK Birmingham chapter of IASA ( International Association Software Architects) held at Wragge UK in Birmingham city centre.

My thanks to Wragge UK for their hospitality and the use of one of their conference rooms.

A special mention must go to Matt Deacon ( Microsoft Development Architect ) who instigated the initial response with Neil Weller Technical Architect, Timewave Technologies Ltd for opening a Birmingham chapter and made the journey up from London ( although this may change from Birmingham chapter to "Midland" chapter following a certain amount of discussion).

Also thanks must go to Dr Richard Grimes, who gave an indepth and thought provoking talk on Security within Windows32 / COM+ & .NET .

A thoroughly enjoyable evening guy's..... see you at the next one.
